As you know by now, our boys team have reached the Cuman na mBunscol Final on Saturday next in Markievicz Park. Kick off is 1:40pm. It promises to be a fantastic day for our boys and our school. They have played with great determination and skill so far this year under the dynamic coaching team that is Ms Taheny & Mrs Cawley. The teamwork has been second to none by our boys and everyone has played their part. We wish them every good luck on Saturday and win, lose or draw we are super proud of each member of the team.
Admission on Saturday is €5 per adult - payable at the gate by CASH ONLY.
Programmes will be on sale for €2.
There is also a prize on the day for the most colourful supporters! So let’s paint Markievicz green & gold/yellow!! Please wear and dress in our school colours for the occasion! If all of the Drimina NS supporters can congregate together in the stand to support our boys this will be greatly appreciated.
This is our first time back in the finals since 2019, when our girls team were victorious. Our boys team brought the silverware back to Drimina in 2016. Let’s hope we can do the same on Saturday and continue our proud Cuman na mBunscol tradition. Looking forward to seeing as many as possible there!
