A huge congratulations to the boys & girls from the senior room who played two very sporting games yesterday against Rathlee NS in the first round of the Cuman na mBunscol football competition. Our younger girls team put in a valiant effort against a stronger, bigger & more experienced Rathlee team in a challenge match & played some very skillful & impressive football. Well done girls!
Our boys team put on a fantastic team display. Each member of the squad contributed to an overall brilliant team performance. The skill, sportsmanship & composure displayed by the team was second to none. Our boys ran out eventual winners in this well contested game. Well done to all involved & to Ms Taheny & Mrs Cawley for all their hard work preparing the teams for the day.
Also a big thank you to Tourlestrane GAA for providing the facilities on the day & go raibh maith agaibh to all the parents who came to support!
